Description
Our fabricated steel roof ladders are built for permanent installation on commercial warehouses, office buildings, and industrial facilities. This “Open Design” model is a cost-effective and durable solution for 2-story buildings, providing maintenance teams and contractors with a solid, secure path to the rooftop for HVAC or roof repairs.
Construction & Safety Features
- Walk-Thru Handrails: The side rails extend 42 inches above the roof line and flare out, allowing the user to walk through the ladder onto the roof rather than stepping over the side.
- High-Strength Rungs: Features 3/4″ non-slip corrugated steel rungs fully welded to the side rails. The rungs are spaced at a standard 12-inch interval for a natural climbing rhythm.
- Stand-Off Brackets: Includes heavy-duty steel brackets that keep the ladder a safe distance (7 inches) from the wall, providing ample toe clearance for the climber.
- All-Welded Integrity: Fabricated in a local steel shop, every joint is fully MIG-welded to create a single, rigid unit that will not loosen or rattle with heavy use.
Specifications for T&T Buildings
- Total Length: 23.5 feet (20 feet of climbing rungs + 3.5 feet of walk-thru handrails).
- Weight: Approximately 175 lbs of high-grade carbon steel.
- Shop Finish: Each ladder arrives treated with a standard grey oxide primer. A final coat of industrial-grade paint is required to protect the steel from the corrosive T&T environment.
Ordering & Installation
This ladder is designed to be bolted or welded directly to the building’s structural frame or masonry. Due to the height and weight of this item, professional installation is required.
