Our concrete masonry units are engineered for the rigorous demands of the Trinidad and Tobago construction industry. Unlike standard “fence blocks,” these commercial-grade units are manufactured under controlled conditions to ensure high compressive strength, making them suitable for load-bearing applications in office buildings, warehouses, and retail developments.
Size Options & Common Commercial Uses
We offer the three most common block sizes used in local commercial construction, each optimized for specific structural roles:
- 4″ x 8″ x 16″ (Partition Block): * Use Case: Primarily used for internal non-load-bearing partitions, office dividers, and plumbing chases.
- Quantity: Approx. 150 blocks per pallet.
- 6″ x 8″ x 16″ (Standard Wall Block): * Use Case: The most versatile size for external walls, residential-to-commercial conversions, and secondary structural walls.
- Quantity: Approx. 100 blocks per pallet.
- 8″ x 8″ x 16″ (Load-Bearing Block): * Use Case: Heavy-duty structural walls, elevator shafts, and foundational masonry where maximum load-bearing capacity is required.
- Quantity: Approx. 75 blocks per pallet.
Manufacturing Quality
- Compression Strength: Every block is manufactured using high-vibration compaction, resulting in a dense, uniform unit that resists moisture penetration and structural cracking.
- Dimensional Accuracy: Uniform sizing ensures faster installation for contractors and reduced mortar waste on the job site.
- Clean Finish: The smooth, consistent texture provides an excellent bond for plaster (rendering) or can be left exposed and painted for an industrial look.
